Warranty &
End of Life.

Ross Gardam™ offers a Warranty on all products and also supplies a Product Stewardship program when your product reaches the end of its life.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not

Your purchase is guaranteed against defects in material of manufacturing workmanship for faults under normal conditions for a certain period of time from the date of purchase. Our express warranty is in additional to the specific rights granted by Victorian and Federal laws. This express warranty does not exclude, restrict or modify any of your statutory rights or remedies. The warranty terms are accepted by the consumer upon order of goods either through our website, distributors or through a direct sale.

A standard two (2) year structural warranty is offered on all our lighting products.

The warranty claim will be deemed void or will not cover the following:

  1. The products are contaminated or altered by a third party without prior written consent from Ross Gardam™
  2. If the goods are not used as intended or if Care and Maintenance guide is not adhered to.
  3. Each lighting product has a sticker attached showing the maximum wattage globe to be used in each fitting. The warranty will be voided if maximum wattages are not adhered to.
  4. Product not installed by qualified person.
  5. Defects caused by normal wear and tear, accident, negligence, alteration or misuse.
  6. Any costs associated with servicing product.

All lighting is for indoor use and must adhere to installation requirements as specified in Product Instructions.

Ross Gardam™ will not be liable for any claims caused directly or indirectly by any event or matter beyond its control, including incidental, consequential or contingent damages suffered as a result of the use or assembly of the furniture or a breach of this warranty either written or implied.

Ross Gardam™ will provide repair and make available parts or items free of charge at our discretion.

Ross Gardam™ must first be notified of a potential warranty claim in writing and then agree to acceptance prior to any goods been sent. Please note you will need to supply proof or purchase and it is the consumer’s responsibility to cover any cost of delivery of goods back to Ross Gardam™. However, keep your delivery receipt as we will reimburse the cost of shipping if a fault is found with the product.

A standard five (5) year structural warranty is offered on all our indoor furniture products from the date of dispatch. A standard two (2) year structural warranty is offered on all our outdoor furniture products from the date of dispatch. The Flint table is manufactured by ‘Made by Tait’ and is warranted under their warranty agreement available here Tait.

The warranty claim will be deemed void or will not cover the following

  1. The products are contaminated or altered by a third party without prior written consent from Ross Gardam™
  2. If the goods are not used as intended or if Care and Maintenance guide is not adhered to.
  3. General wear and tear or natural ageing of material with in the product.
  4. Damage caused by spills such as solvents, dyes, ink, paint or bodily fluids

Ross Gardam™ will not be liable for any claims caused directly or indirectly by any event or matter beyond its control, including incidental, consequential or contingent damages suffered as a result of the use or assembly of the furniture or a breach of this warranty either written or implied.

Ross Gardam™ will provide repair and make available parts or items free of charge at our discretion.

We will not liable for fading or natural aging of timber or any naturally occurring timber features such as medullary rays or grain features. We will not be liable for fading and creasing in upholstery or the softening of foam and filling over time.

Ross Gardam™ must first be notified of a potential warranty claim in writing and then agree to acceptance prior to any goods been sent. Please note you will need to supply proof or purchase and it is the consumers responsibility to cover any cost of delivery of goods back to Ross Gardam™. However, keep your delivery receipt as we will reimburse the cost of shipping if a fault is found with the product.

Ross Gardam™ and its distribution and manufacturing partners are committed to responsible life cycle management and the core principles of product stewardship and extended producer responsibility. We understand that corporate social and environmental responsibility goes beyond the point of sale and warranty periods.

In conjunction with our distributor and manufacturing partners we will take back all products and recycle in the following ways:

Our product stewardship options include:

  • Refurbishment of products for possible reuse by existing customer or on selling/remarketing to new customers.
  • On selling or donation of products in existing condition to other commercial businesses or organisations.
  • Disassembly of products for component and/or materials reuse in new product manufacturing.
  • Recycling components if reuse is deemed unfeasible.

Our product stewardship agreement is based on the following terms:

  1. All returns need to be agreed by Ross Gardam™ in advance of them been delivered to us.
  2. The customer is responsible for all onsite disassembly and related costs. We recommend using qualified trades people and electricians.
  3. The customer is responsible for any delivery fees to the agreed location.
  4. Goods are to be returned as supplied and not have any contaminates or be altered by a third party in any way. If goods are supplied contaminated they will be returned to the customer at their cost.
